Psssst…I haven’t given them to D yet but I don’t think he’ll see this post ;)
I didn’t actually plan on making this until around 8pm last night. Macarons were on my to-do list so I figured why not make them for D for Valentine’s Day? Blue & green are our favourite colours (well, I kind of imposed them on him) so that’s why they’re not in the standard Valentine’s Day red, white or pink. I had so much fun making them! My first batch failed but I kind of expected it seeing as though it was my first time making them. The filling is chocolate ganache.
I wanted to make a cute box for them so I copied the shape of Thierry‘s box and made my own with card stock. I also had some scrapbooking ribbon so I made a quick bow for decoration. I must say, I’m pretty proud of the end product. Hope he likes it!
